Shoulder Impingement is caused by the pinching of structures such as rotator cuff tendons (main support muscles of the shoulder joint) and cushioning sacs of fluid (bursa) which are located within the shoulder joint. Your physiotherapist will perform a comprehensive assessment to establish the cause of your shoulder impingement.
